Explain how overpopulation has caused problems
in a country or area you have studied (4 marks)

Nigeria is a country which has an enormous population

for its land mass, meaning that is it overpopulated. This
has brought lots of problems to Nigeria. Firstly, the
number of children who have a primary education is
low, this is because there are not enough schools
available to cope with the number of children in Nigeria.
Also there is a shortage of food and water, this is
because Nigeria is overcrowded so they are unable to
produce enough food to feed everyone. This has led to
an increase in crime as people try to find the resources
they need to survive.
