Dear Sir / Madam,

Apprentice Sports Writer – talk SPORT

I would like to apply for the position of Apprentice Sports Writer at talk SPORT
which I saw advertised on Indeed. I enclosed a copy of my CV in support of my
application.

I am in college where I am studying a diploma in Level 3 Media Studies which in the

first year, I achieved a Merit. I also studied Journalism in college where I achieved a
NCTJ qualification in my work.

Also, in my first year of college, I did a Final Major Project where I worked with
Warrington Wolves to create a fanzine, when I took pictures of the first team training,
and also interviewing the Assistant Coach, Richard Marshall.

I think I will be the most valuable person in your workforce as I am dedicated to work,
and I desire to do the best for the company. This will be a huge stand-up for me if I
get this job, but it is defiantly something that I will be willing to take on as I aren’t
afraid to new things and step out of my comfort zone.

I also think I am very good at meeting deadlines which will allow me to do anything
for the job, and do things that I might not feel my best assets are at. Another strength
for me is that I am a friendly person, and I am not afraid to make a conversation with
anyone.

I have about two years of experience as a Sports Journalist, which has put me in a
good step to know what type of things it takes to work in a job industry like this is.

I am currently working at Sainsburys in Warrington as a services assistant, with also

getting work experience at Warrington Wolves Rugby League as Reserve, Academy
and Scholarship Media.
I am confident in my abilities that I will be the best person for this job that you are
giving us the opportunity to apply for. My expertise in this industry that I have
developed in the last couple of years have put me in a good step to be the best of
my ability for this application.

I would love to meet you, and express my attributes in more detail, so please do not
hesitate to get in touch at seanspencer2004@gmail.com.

Yours Faithfully,

Sean.
