Statement of Purpose

I am Mushtaq Hojira, a graduate of the Computer Science department, and I am excited to submit
my statement of purpose for this funded research internship program in the fields of computer
science, software systems, and security and privacy.

My academic and professional aspirations revolve around expanding my knowledge and

understanding in the areas of computer science and technology. This research internship
represents a unique opportunity for me to further my education and gain valuable hands-on
experience in my field of interest.

Throughout my academic journey, I have acquired a comprehensive understanding of software

design and development, artificial intelligence, and networking and information security. Through
coursework, projects, and research, I have delved into the latest advancements and challenges in
these areas, fueling my passion for further exploration and contribution to the field.

The prospect of working alongside specialized and innovative researchers at the Max Planck
Institutes is truly inspiring. I am eager to collaborate with fellow interns and senior researchers,
exchanging ideas and knowledge to create a stimulating research environment. I am confident
that this collaborative experience will not only enhance my technical skills but also foster personal
