ACTIVITY #18 – Reflection

First, let me say, thank you for carrying me within your own body for more than
nine months, nourishing my growing body so that I would be born healthy. Thank you
for the deep love you showed me as an infant and small child, teaching me about the
world through a wide variety of experiences so that I could grow and develop as a
unique person. Thank you for providing our family with good food, setting me up for a
lifetime of healthy eating habits. Thank you for pushing me to always be the best I could
be in any given situation, especially academically.
I am sorry if I have not been treating you nicely lately. Additionally, for always
having a bad attitude when you ask me to do my homework or clean my room. I
apologize for not expressing my true feelings. I believed that when I took care of
everything on my own, I could be an adult. I know well that during this teenage year, I
was a handful daughter to you. I played a part in making your life harder than it needed
to be.
However, I must make it clear to you that everything I said including the backtalk
and sarcasm was an awful mistake. I want to apologize for all of the suffering and
hardship I have caused you, as you truly did not deserve any of it. I should never have
treated you the way that I did. I never should have treated you that way. I apologize,
Mom. I thank the universe for giving me an angel in human form. I love you more than I
love anyone in this completely wide world.

ACTIVITY #17 – Reflection

Personal relationships refer to close connections between people, formed by


emotional bonds and interactions. These bonds often grow from and are strengthened
by mutual experiences. In our lives, personal relationships are vital because they give
us companionship, emotional support, and a sense of belonging. They are necessary
for our overall happiness and well-being. The closer we feel to the people we love, the
stronger and healthier the relationship, the happier we feel, and the more fulfilled we are
personally. Our emotional health and personal development depend on our
relationships with others. We can preserve and improve our relationships by
encouraging flexibility, mutual respect, good communication, quality time, and support.
Our lives become happier when we develop positive relationships that promote love,
joy, and an appreciation of belonging. The relationships that are most important to us
should be treasured and supported because they are the foundation of a happy and
meaningful life.
