HIGH PRICE OF MEAT:

Why meat has a high price? Because of years of drought conditions which make cattle more expensive to
raise, pandemic disruptions and widespread cost increases have prompted ranchers to sell off livestock. In
addition the the cause of high price of meat is the ASF, or African swine fever. This is the disease where the
target are the animals, especially in pig. Alot of pig died in this disease,so this is the one reason why meat
has a high price.
It affects the numbers of available live animals, changing consumer demand and even weather patterns
can impact price movements. In addition, meat processing and it's associated industries also provide
employment, income and stimulate the local, regional or national economies. The meat industry may also
be an important component of the export sector, generating not only valuable foreign exchange but also
saving through import substitution.
