PROJECT PROBLEMS
PROBLEM: The earliest problem that occurred during the construction of one of the very first buildings was during the execution phase.
The excavation pit which was dug for the foundation and the piles for the column was not measured accurately and hence caused a big mistake
leading to change the plan about Foundation building.
The dimension around the pile foundation was not measured considering the PCC bed around the footing. And hence the Excavation pit
needed to be increased. But that too was not possible as the land after the pit was not allowed to be dug further.

The problem arrived was due to the POOR COMMUNICATION between


the design team and the Execution team. The co-ordination between them
could have helped to avoid such mistakes.

SOLUTION:
The Design Team came with the next possible thing that can be
changed to resolve the problem, and had and alternate Column
footing design.

The PCC bed had no place spread on the surface and hence the Depth
of the footing was increased to keep the strength and change the
design.
It was an KNOWLEDGE BASED solution .

found out, making the decision for the solution go further away.
SOLUTION:
After lot of permutations for the solution, no other method was as fast and money efficient
as the current one, and hence no Action was taken on this problem and kept unchanged
with the Damage on the work.
PROJECT PROBLEMS
PROBLEM: • The construction requirements were discussed and finalized between the contractor and the design team,
and as per them the sonstruction was supposed to be on a faster track.
• Flat Slabs were decided to be the best option to complete the construction on time.
• But later while on the INTERIOR PHASE the contractor came to the realization that for some apartments the Drainage slop required is not
present and hence would cause a problem for lot many other reasons too.

The problem arrived was due to POORLY DEFINED GOALS as the first phase did not
discuss about the interior bathroom need but discussed about the time constraints and
the solutions for that.

SOLUTION:
The solution for the problem was fulfilled by an equipment.
PUMP-11 was used for the pumping for water drainage
through the floor and was installed throughout in all
apartments.

PUMP JC 11-

for pumping water and dirty water mixed with light
abrasives. When delivered to a site you can start using
