1. Enumerate 3 artworks that attract you the most.

 The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci

The Last
Supper by Leonardo
da Vinci is among the
most famous
paintings in the
world. In this painting
Leonardo portrayed a moment of high tension when surrounded by the twelve apostles
as they are sharing at that time Jesus says, “One of you will betray me” with calmness
and acceptance as it is the plan of the Almighty Father. That made me love the painting
not only that but also how he acts as a father to his apostles. As for me, it is important
because it allows me to see my life in a different perspective in life. That everything
happens because it is the will of the Almighty God.

 The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh

The Starry
Night by Vincent van
Gogh is one of the
western worlds most
famous painting. It
depicts the city of
Saint-Remy under the
swirling sun and
completed after Van
Goghs mental breakdown. This made me love his painting because it reflects his direct
observations to his countryside despite of the depression he was facing. That the
memories and emotion in his view evoked in him. As a student it motivates me to strive
hard no matter what you are facing like depression, problems, and etc. However, use this
struggle to move on to your journey in life.

 The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali

The
Persistence of Memory
by Salvador Dali is
one of the most
famous paintings in
the world. The
Persistence of Memory
depicts melting clock faces and is thought to have been inspired by the theory of
relativity. I love this painting because it depicts on how we are today. That our mind is
present in what we do in our daily lives and has more over us than man-made objects of
the conscious world. As a student pushed me to be more realistic and focus on what is
happening in the real world.

3. Watch at least one performance or activity and share with me the experience through narration.

Last Wednesday, during the National Arts Month celebration in the Nueva Vizcaya State
University. I heard that there was performance competition in dancing and singing at a gym. So,
me and my friends gone there early before the competition to watch. At a gym we find a better
spot to stay so that we can clearly watch them. During the competition there are different
performers, performing their best. But the one who captivated my attention was the girl who sung
the song of sampaguita entitled “Nosi Ba Lasi”. At first before she starts performing, I was so
sleepy because the first two performer sang a very nice coral type of song. Then when she starts
singing, it was just like “wow”. The feeling of excitement with my body rises especially when
she started to sing the high notes and made me to continue watching the other performances.
