PRELIMINARIES 3 min
1. Prayer – Play a video with voice over
2. Greetings – The Teacher Greet the students
3. Checking of Attendance -the class secretary to check the attendance
4. Reading of Class Rules – Present a video clip for class roles and
lets the students to read.

Grouping: Each student will pick a colored piece of paper in the box. Color Red is Group 1, Blue is
group 2 Green is group 3, and Yellow is Group 4

word that can be form in the group of numbers to be shown to them. You are given 2 minutes to do this
activity.

ABSTRACTION 10 minutes
Brace yourself!!! because Today, We are going to explore the uses of different computer system tools
and their uses and functions. If you want to Assemble or Disassemble your computer set, you should
familiarize the different tools, their uses and function.
Group Activity (ASSEMBLE ME, NAME ME, Materials are provided inside colored envelop)
Directions: In the same groupings, each group will receive one picture puzzle (cut out). Each group will
assemble the picture. After assembling it, post it on the chalkboard; choose a representative to name the
picture and to explain to the class its uses. You are graded with Rubrics and assemble the pictures in 3
minutes.

The groups will receive Fact Sheets about the new topic. Through these Fact sheets, each group will
check their answers in the previous activity at the same they are going to study it for 1 minute only.
Directions: The teacher has a small golden box with COLORED rolled papers inside. In the rolled paper,

numbers are written. If the teacher will pick a rolled paper and its COLOR is RED, the student who is
listed in that number will be the one to answer the question to be given by the teacher and so on. Every
correct answer the group will receive 2 points.

 This tool primarily used for connecting terminals in the

power supply and circuit board with the use of a soldering
lead.

Crimping Tool, UTP & RJ45

- This is the tool used to crimp the UTP cable to
RJ45 connector cable in order to assemble
ethernet cable connection.
APPLICATION 20 minutes
Learning across curriculum:
1) Mathematics - Measurement and Data: Students (group) will record the minutes of the performance in
actual use and reporting of output of the other group in computer system tools using appropriate units and
tools for accuracy.
2) Science - Technology and Engineering: Students will explore the principles behind the tools used in
computer systems and how they contribute to the overall performance and functionality.
3) English - Technical Writing: Students will write a technical report describing the different tools used
for computer systems and their functions.
Valuing:
Directions: In order to appreciate the importance of the testing tools, each group is going to relate the
importance of the Testing Tools not just only in handling the computer through 1 minute paper.
