Lab 4: SearchMax Tool

1. Load your MyPMAlign.vpp APPLICATION file.

2. Open up CogJob 1.
3. Open the VisionPro Toolbox and add a CogSearchMax Tool.
4. Make the proper connections between the Image Source and the newly inserted CogSearchMax
Tool. Remember to run the Job once after you make the Image Source connection.

5. Configure the CogSearchMax Tool to find the lower right fastener on the back panel view.
a. Set the Train Mode to be “Evaluate DOFs at Runtime”
b. Set the search region so that it is only picking up that fastener and not the one on the
other side.
6. Run the CogJob and verify that the fastener is found.

7. Save your APPLICATION as MySearchMax.vpp.
