• To introduce the principles of graphic design, covering
typography, layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy, with a
focus on applying these concepts to multimedia projects.
• To explore image manipulation and enhancement
techniques using software like Adobe Photoshop, teaching
students how to create and edit images for multimedia
applications.
• To teach the fundamental principles of interactive design,
including user interface (UI) to enable students to create user-
friendly and intuitive multimedia interfaces.
• To familiarize students with video and audio editing
software, enabling them to edit and enhance multimedia content
by adding visual effects, transitions, and sound elements.
• To teach students project planning and management skills
specific to multimedia design, including organizing assets,
timelines, and collaborative workflows.
