4. First Aid Measures

5. Fire Fighting Measures


5.1 Hazardous Combustion : Oxides of carbon and other possible toxic fumes from
Products fire.
5.2 Fire Fighting Measures : Foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical. Wear protective
equipment including self-contained apparatus.

6. Accidental Release Measures


6.1 After spillage / leakage : Spill should be contained by bundling and absorbing
with dry inert filler (e.g. vermiculite, sand, oil etc.) which
can be shoveled into appropriately labeled drums.
Disposal should be affected by approve waste disposal
organization according to local regulations.
6.2 Environmental : Avoid subsoil penetration. Do not allow to enter into

7.1 Handling Information : Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as per
section 8.

7.2 Storage Information : Keep containers tightly closed, store under cool dry
conditions. Keep away from foods and drinks. Keep out
of reach of children. Store under cover and away from
sunlight and moisture. Store in 5 – 35 degrees Celsius.

8.1 Engineering Controls : Ventilation is recommended under normal use


conditions. State regulations on speed and direction of
airflow away from operators must be observed. Keep
containers closed when not in use.

5. Fire Fighting Measures

5.1 Fire Fighting Measures : Evacuate area immediately. Do not fight to fire.
5.2 Extinguishing Media : Deluge with plenty of water as quickly as possible by
automatic sprinkles or fire hose from a protected
location. Product is self-oxidizing.
5.3 Conditions to avoid : Avoid impact, friction, heat, sparks or flame.

6. Accidental Release Measures

6.2 Environmental : Clean up spills immediately using soft natural bristle

7. Handling and Storage

7.1 Handling Information : Do not pressurize or expose containers to heat, flame,


sparks, static electricity or other sources of ignition.
Store in a cool dry place, approximately 68 °F (20°C).
Store only in Department of Transportation approved
containers. Check old product for deterioration
regularly.
7.2 Storage Information : Avoid storing product near incompatible and
flammable materials, do not deteriorated or salvaged
product. Keep away from heat, flame, sparks and other
ignition sources. Do not store in direct sunlight or
expose to UV radiation. See section 10.

8. Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

8.1 General Hygienic : Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid
Practices breathing dust, vapor or mist. Wash thoroughly after
handling and before eating, drinking or smoking. Avoid
contamination of foods, beverages or smoking
materials. Remove contaminated clothing promptly
and clean thoroughly before reuse. Discard
contaminated leather articles.

8.2 Personal Protective : Wear safety glasses, hand gloves, flame retardant
Equipment clothing and conductive rubber shoes. Appropriate
respiratory protection is required when exposure to
airborne contaminants may exceed acceptable limits.
Respirators should be selected and used in accordance
with OSHA, Subpart 1 (29 CFR 1910, 134) and
manufacturers recommendations.

8.3 Engineering Controls : Avoid smoking in working area. Material is shock

from ignition and friction sources. Eye wash and
