Driving Guide

1. Install printing programme


a. Install application software ;

Insert floppy disk with driver;

Click ‘start’ key to choose setup as ‘printer’, then double-click the column of

printer’s appending for guide of printer’s appending; click ‘next’;

select ‘local printer’ , then click ‘next’ (this process is only for LAN);

click ‘install from disk’;

b.select driver related to computer’s operation system

If you can find related operation system in driver, please make a choice. Otherwise,

you’ll have no choice.

c.Then select ‘OEMSETUP.INF’

d. Select Printer’s Model

‘Graphtec CE1000-60’ is suggested to be your best choice of printer’s model,

then click ‘next’ till finish;

2. Set Printer Model “Graphtec CE1000-60”
Make ‘Graphtec CE1000-60’ as defaulting printer, then set printer;

a. set printer’s port

It’s no need to set port if LPT1 is selected. If port is selected as COM 1 or COM 2,

please set port. ‘Flux Control’ will have to be changed to ‘Hardware’

b. Set Paper & Option:

(1)Change〈PAPER SOURCED〉to“CUT PAPER”


(2)Change〈PAPER SIZE〉to“FREE SIZE”;

(3)Change〈PLOT AREA〉to“1500×16000”. Remark: under Windows

98/ME/SE,the max. size of PLOT AREA is 3200x3200mm; under Windows2000/

XP ,the max. size of PLOT AREA is 1600x16000mm

(4)Enter <option>, select ‘programmable resolution’ as 0.1mm.

3. Use Graphtec CE1000-60 Printer in CORELDRAW


a. Manage graph:

For letters, please profile filament at first , see the picture , click Hairline Outline .

Then enter ‘fill’. ‘No Fill” is selected for output.

b. Rotated 90°angle for well edited letterings or graph, the output will be cut out

from landscape orientation.

c. Set Print:

Set “layout” as left bottom corner, set scaling as 98.5 (see picture 1)

Make sure no error with printer’s option (picture 2 is correct; picture 3 is with

error and can’t output data)
