Nandischa : May i come in miss?

Mrs Ayanika : Please come in...

Hello. Good morning. I am Mrs Ayanika and I will be the one interviewing you today. Please
have your sit.
Nandischa : Good morning, thankyou Mrs Ayanika. It’s nice to meet you.

Mrs Ayanika : Nice to meet you too, how are you?

Nandischa : I’m good, thankyou

Mrs Ayanika : let’s start our interview. Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?

Nandischa : Of course. I graduated from University of Indonesia with nursing major in 2014. I have been
working at a local hospital for two years as a nurse and enjoying every second of it. Other
than my career, I’m also active on a non-profit organization called Nurses’ Calling which
helps people that got affected by natural disasters such as earthquake and tsunami

Mrs Ayanika : So you love being a nurse? Why did you first decided that you wanted to be a nurse?

Nandischa : I do, I really love being a nurse. I actually have dreamed of becoming a nurse since I was in
elementary school. I caught a bad case of typhus when I was in 3rd grade and had to spend a
few days in the hospital. The nurses there was so caring and it made me feel stronger even
though I was sick. I wanted to be the one who gave my patients the energy and the positivity
to get healthy again.

Mrs Ayanika : Alright. You also mentioned that you have worked for 2 years as a nurse. During your
experience, have you ever come across a patient that wasn’t satisfied with your care?

Nandischa : Of course. I believe it’s a normal thing to encounter in this line of job. But what I did is I try
to assess what went wrong. Maybe they act like that because of their own problem, or
maybe it’s because of me. If it’s because of me i would take time to reflect and try to be
more understanding towards my patients.

Mrs Ayanika : Okay. So, last question. Now tell me what is your strength?

Nandischa : I believe that I could contribute a lot to your hospital and that all of my energy and care
would totally be focused on helping and taking care of my patients.

Mrs Ayanika : Alright. That’s about it. Do you have any question?

Nandischa : Maybe I would just like to ask about the work hours?

Mrs Ayanika : We work in shift here, so there’s 3 shifts, day, evening, and night. Your shift will rotate
every week.

Nandischa : Understood. Thank you so much for having me.

Mrs Ayanika : You’re welcome. We will let you know the result by the end on this week. Have a good day.
