NURSE

Why introduction of a nurse is important for
nurse-patient relationship?
 Nurse can get a good first impression if they able
to have effective communication skill in greeting
and introduction.
 Make you approachable as a nurse
 Can establishing the therapeutic nurse and patient
relationship.
How do you introduce yourself to
patient
 Make eye contact and shake their hand. ...
 Address them by an honorific. ...
 Make sure nonverbal communication is positive. ...
 Use the right tone of voice. ...
 Explain why you're there. ...
 Ask the patient if they have any questions. ...
 Ask if they need anything else.

will help you.
