When people ask me to describe myself, I always draw a blank, I never know what to say, I’m
caught off guard because I don’t really love talking about myself too often because I am someone
who likes to listen rather than to talk. I always have to think about what I should say to make a
good impression on whomever is asking me the question. There is a lot about me that you can see
by just looking at me; I have short brunette hair, I’m short, hazel eyes, I’m quiet, and more.
However, there are certain personality traits about me that every single person I know on a
personal basis can tell you; I am candid, I am shy, and I am very loving. I am candid and by
candid, I mean I am always very truthful and frank. When my friends come to me for advice …

Since I was a toddler I would run away to my mom from people I didn’t know and also run away
from people I did know like my cousins and aunts and uncles. I would run straight to my mom
and hide behind her and hold onto her leg until she picked me up. It only got worse as I got older,
when I was in gymnastics when I was eight years old, we would have to do competitions and
shows in front of the other kids’ families and friends. I would cry and cry until my mom would
call my coach and tell them that I was “sick” so I wouldn’t have to perform. As I grew up I come
out of my shell more and more but I was still incredibly shy, solo and ground presentations or
speeches at school gave me anxiety. I opted out of a lot of opportunities because of how shy I was
and that was very hard to deal with now that I’m older and I now wish I could go back and attack
those opportunities I missed out on. Present day I am still shy but not as bad as it was in middle
school and before that, if anything I loved growing up shy even if I didn’t get to experience some
things because I wouldn’t be who I am if I hadn’t grown up being so shy. It is a personality trait
that I will cherish because even though it took some things away from me it gave me a lot more

Honors Wind Ensemble: Character Analysis

From a modest, trustworthy introvert, to a sweet, understanding, outgoing friend, my character is one that
is a little more rare than most. The reason for these opposing variations have to deal with the people I
interact with, my unique interests, and personal experiences. My whole life, I've considered myself to be

Autobiography Essay
My grandfather was born in Gilroy, California, in 1939. At the age of eight, my grandfather moved to a
ranch near the outskirts of Gilroy, where he lived in a one room shack with his mother, brother, and step-
father. For seven years, my grandfather lived in that poor shack, where he had to cover the holes in the
walls with newspaper or cardboard just to keep warm during the cold winters. Years later, my grandfather
decided to make something out of his life, and enrolled at San Jose City college in 1972, and graduated in
1975 with an Associate degree. While enrolled in San Jose City college, my grandfather was offered an
internship to work for the Santa Clara county in the investigation program unit.…

As a military child, I left the United States with my family at the age of five and spent eight years living
overseas at duty stations in Japan, Germany, and Italy. We traveled extensively during vacations to over 20
different countries. As a result, I claim proficiency in ordering french fries and apple juice in several
different languages. Although moving has brought me some misfortune, and many people would say that
living overseas qualifies as adversity, I never felt it was such.…

A bit about me…I like to think I am smart, funny and easy going. I am told I am anyway. I am not one of

College Admissions Essay: My Life Of Me

My Life Ever since I was little my parents have always called me a leader. I didn’t believe it until I was in
junior high and became the quarterback of the football team at my school. My very first football game in
7th grade in was probably one of the biggest moments in my life. My parents were never very thrilled
about the idea of me playing football and this was a big step in our relationship, as this was my first grasp
on independence. They let me go out on that field alone all by myself without their protection.…

Song Of Myself Essay

The poet, Walt Whitman, the creator of “ Song Of Myself” from the book Leaves Of Grass, depicts the
meaning of our life and our purpose of the universe as a beautiful life cycle of death and rebirth anew.
Whitman conveys that “for for every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you,/… every atom of my
blood, form’d from this soil, this air.”. ,Whitman believes that the individual makes us unique in our own
way while sharing common ground with others. This conveys that in Whitman’s poem we become one
with the universe and that we come from the universe. , This also demonstrates that that purpose that we
want to have, we look for it and in the end we make our own purpose and how we see others and
ourselves.…

Hopeful Uncertainty: The Glorious Aspects Of My Life

Throughout my fifteen years, there have been certain predominant aspects of my life and my personality
that have stayed fairly consistent, my shyness being chief among them. It is this characteristic that has
perhaps affected me the most throughout my life, and much of the change and development that I have
undergone has been in terms of how I let my introverted personality affect my interactions with others. I
have experienced several monumental events that have brought about these changes, and for this reason, I
can categorize my life into distinct periods, beginning with the Pretentious and Judgemental years,
followed by the Era of Blissful Contentedness, which led directly into the Static years, and finally, the
period of Hopeful Uncertainty in which I currently exist. The earliest years of my life that I can clearly
remember can be classified as the Pretentious and Judgemental years, which began when I started
kindergarten and lasted approximately three years.…

the wheels momentarily lose their grip on earths surface. I open my door, keys in hand and am blasted

Personal Narrative Essay: The Aspects Of My Life

Certain aspects of my life I cannot change; I do not dwell on what life would be like under different
circumstances, nor do I any longer wish to escape who I am. Through God 's grace, or perhaps merely by
chance, my life has dramatically changed. Whatever the reason, I do not intend to waste my opportunity to

Reflective Essay About My Life

Throughout my life I have fought and successfully moved on in situations that many people don’t even
