I am, Fakhmi Imanuddin Prakasa, writing to express my interest in securing a 2023 INDONESIA GRADUATE
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM position at THIESS Pty Ltd. I am a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree from Institut
Teknologi Bandung, specializing in Mining Exploration. I come from a solid technical background with a strong
interest in hydrogeology, hydrology, geotechnics, and data analytics also have a passion for big data analytics like
observing, analyzing, and investigating data to get insight and draw a conclusion for problem-solving. Wishing to
use strong planning, detail-oriented, and analytical/critical skills to help the company processing data to create
useful business insight in optimizing company goals effectively and efficiently. My area of focus and interest varies
from quantitative analysis to project management. I have maintained a 3.32 GPA and assigned to the research
assistant team project for technology development of steam-spot detection and sustainable resource use for large
enhancement of geothermal power generation in Indonesia, Beneficial and Advanced Geothermal Use System
(BAGUS) Project, which is not only very analytical and technical by nature but also helps to build leadership and
team building qualities. I believe my academic and organizational background, have provided me with the
credentials needed to thrive in a 2023 INDONESIA GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM position at THIESS Pty
Ltd.

I was experienced as a field engineer, primarily resolving study issues related to hydrogeology and
hydrogeochemistry. I gained solid research, analytical, and problem-solving skills while working as a freelance field
engineer for hydro-geotech study in PT Tura Consulting Indonesia at Poboya Site, PT Citra Palu Minerals' mining
concession, and as a freelance field engineer for hydrogeological study in PT Sumagud Sapta Sinar at PT Gorontalo
Minerals' mining concession. My background in fieldwork and teamwork has provided me with a deeper
understanding of multifaceted problems that companies encounter in their daily operations. Moreover, because of
my work experiences, I fully understand how important it is to have great team dynamics in today's multi-
disciplinary work environment. However, it is through mining consulting that I can use my analytical aptitude and
problem-solving skills to their fullest. On the other hand, I have an interest and passion for data-driven work.
Besides being passionate in the field of earth engineering, especially mining, I also continue to self-actualize in the
data analysis field, such as observing, analyzing, and investigating data to gain insight and draw conclusions to
solve problems. Want to actualize data analysis knowledge to improve hard analytical and practical skills, such as
statistics and probability, SQL and database systems, data exploration concepts and applications, exploratory data
analysis applications, and data visualization.
