CREATING WEBSITE USING MICROSOFT WORD
1. Open Microsoft Word
2. Click On Blank document
3. Click on View>Web Layout
4. Type on the page “Welcome to OUR Group
Website”.
5. Insert your Pictures on the lower part of the
page.
6. Put all the individual names of the members.
7. Click on File>Save As> Browse
8. On the Save As dialog box, create a New
Folder named “Sample Web Page.”
9. Specify the filename “OUR Group
Website”
10. On the Save As type, select “Web Page”.
11. Click the Change Title button.
12. Input the title as seen below, then click OK then
SAVE.
13. Check the files on your Sample Web page
folder. You will see a new folder generated
including your .htm or .html file.
14. Open the Sample Web page.htm file and you
will see that you just created a web page using
Microsoft Word.
• You have just created a web page using
MS Word. These office applications can
be used as a WYSIWYG platform.

Wix – a free website provider with

optimization feature so visitors can
easily locate your website
Wix.com is a website builder that allows
you to build a website with no coding.
Wix is free to start but to set up a shop,
remove branding, connect a custom
domain, and more, you must select one
of the affordable premium plans.
1. Go to www.wix.com, and make an
account. You may also Sign In if you already
have an account.
2. When you reach the homepage,
click on Get Started button.
3. On the top, click the Sign Up button.
4. Click On Skip.
5. Click On Choose a Template.
6. Choose a template.
Be careful when
making your choice,
because Wix does not
let you change your
template once chosen.
Click "Edit."
7. Edit the site details
(title and footer text),
changing the
background color,
and add/delete
pages.
8. When you're
done, save all your
work. Wix doesn't
autosave, and you
don't want to lose
all your work!
9. Name your site. Your
site name will appear as:
www.wix.com/yourusern
ame/sitename. You can
get your own custom
domain name (without
the
www.wix.com/username
bit) for a price.
10. When you are
ready to publish
your website,
click Publish in
the corner. Enjoy
your website.
