 What Is
Baking/Introduction
Baking is a food art. Baking This Is A Video Of Me
expresses one’s creativity. It is Baking Chocolate
a great skill to have because
it teaches people to cook. Chunk Cookies
Being able to cook prepares
people for their future. It
teaches them to be
independent and how to
survive living on their own.
When people grow up, they
won't have their parents to
prepare a meal for them. It is
a privilege to those who have
learned and mastered the
skill of baking because they
can prepare a meal for
themselves.
Who Invented The Art Of Baking
The first person to ever bake was
Egyptian. His name is unknown. He was
also the first person to use yeast in his
bread. This all was in 2600 BC.
Where I Learned My Skill
I learned baking when I was really
young. I would help my sister bake
cakes for family gatherings. As I grew
older, I would watch baking videos and
be fascinated by all the humongous
amounts of sprinkles, icing and
chocolate. When I went shopping with
my dad, I would put brownie mix in the
trolley to bake when I got home. Using a
cake box mix helped me to read
instructions well and bake easily. After a
lot of baking using cake box mixes, I
decided to take the challenge and bake
from scratch. This is how I developed a
skill and passion for baking.
How To Bake Conclusion
Baking is my number 1
favourite thing to do and
my favourite skill. I hope
that while you have been
reading this book, you
have decided to bake
something, too! Baking is
a very great skill to learn
and something that will
help you in the future
with many things. I LOVE
BAKING!
Things to know
about cookies
-always chill the dough in
the freezer/refrigerator
before baking it
-if you don't have enough
chocolate for your cookies,
substitute it with walnuts/
almonds/macadamia nuts
-if the dough is crumbly
while whipping it, add a
little bit of melted butter,
then kneed it with your
hands
