The article Managing Stress by Danielle Javier is a must-read for teenagers like us. Its content
can effectively influence teenagers to apply time management in their day-to-day lives. As the
author mentioned, managing stress is hard to deal with, and not everyone knows how to handle
it. Individuals can benefit in terms of their level of productivity and their ability to focus on
something by improving their time management skills. For the multiple reasons that trigger
stress, we must be able to look through ways of avoiding the stress that can worsen situations, or
if we cannot, then a way to alter the situation could be adapting expectations that could lower
stress.
Stress is a typical reaction or set of feelings that a person has because of the everyday demands
they face. These pressures can come from different sources, including pressure from peers,
pressure and expectations from family members, pressure from oneself, and so on. It can become
life-threatening for an individual if they are unable to learn how to control it, which can result in
disruptions to their normal day-to-day life. For many reasons, stress is seen as a major problem
in today's society. This is especially true for people like us, who are students and suffer stress on
a daily basis for different reasons.
According to the author, it talks about some effective ways to deal with stress, such as managing
your own time well, never complaining, and avoiding procrastination, as a result of the situations
that cause academic task delays, their causes, purposes, and consequences for academic
performance and students’ well-being. In addition to this, there is a possibility that it will absorb
you to the point where the thought of it will be draining because you have a lot of other things to
accomplish. Due to the fact that we all come from various backgrounds and experiences, it is
possible that it will not work for everyone.
The author organizes his article well; he gives his own point of view to help the readers follow
his ways to manage stress. He gave good advice that definitely caught the reader's eye. Stating
the reasons that teenagers facing stress were able to overcome this kind of situation, it may be the
ways in which giving his opinion might be the way for others to adapt their own routine that can
forget so much responsibility in a short period of time. Also, the author stated that stress is just a
choice.
As a result, possessing time management skills can assist an individual in moving forward and
using their time in a productive and positive manner. In addition, the author offers helpful advice
that can assist students as well as teenagers in coping with stress in a manner similar to how he
handles it. His management style can help students not put off doing their work and deal with
worry in a healthy way. We would love to share this article with everyone, specifically students
who are having a tough time with their activities to help themselves for their own good.
