SESSION 7

1. Describe a stressful situation, and how you handle it?

"I have a lot of work to do, and tasks are piling up. I don't get enough sleep, eat properly, or
relax properly. I am under considerable strain, which results in worry, stress, and depression."
Stress management is a critical skill set to have while working in high-pressure positions,
particularly when interacting with coworkers or customers. When we are stressed, we need daily
meditation, deep breathing, consistent exercise, good diet, and a flexible mindset. Emphasizing
your adaptability is particularly beneficial in a position where work is unpredictable and you may
not always get your way.

2. Have you ever missed a work assignment/deadline? If so, what did you do?
Yes, I sometimes missed a work, either because I forgot to do it or because there are still a lot of
tasks to do. I am a person who is always under pressure; I used to cry if I did not complete my
assignments on time. Rather of feeling sorry for myself, rather than dwelling on the issue and
wondering what could have been, I chose to look on the future. At the end of the day, we never
have everything under control, and it makes no sense to pursue something we don't really love
just because we're pressured and under societal pressure from our family or peers. As a result, I
missed my deadlines, which I accept. And I can tell you that I will make every effort not to miss
any task deadlines.

3. How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations? Does it ever impact your
student life balance?
Stress is inevitable, and it may sometimes disrupt our day-to-day plans. It can also have an
influence on our student-life balance. However, it does not have to take over your life. I deal
with pressure by making an effort to grasp the type of stress I’m experiencing, what's producing
it, and how I might respond to it successfully. By dealing with stress in a healthier way, I am
doing all possible to make the most of my student life.
4. How do you prevent a situation from getting too stressful to manage?

We are well aware that stress may enhance our attention in challenging or circumstances,
helping us to respond rapidly. We can't stop a situation from becoming stressful. However, we
can cope with it in a good manner. There are several things to prevent and manage stress.
Managing the various day-to-day tasks of life without negatively impacting your health. As a
result, stress prevention and management are essential.  The purpose of stress prevention and
management is not to remove all stress, but to reduce unnecessary stress and help us cope with
inevitable stress.

5. What have you learned from the video presentations?

The video educated me about how the world affects our life condition, life perspectives, and
life cycle. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on our lives. Many of us are
faced with situations that can be stressful and upsetting. The world may impact us, but we have
the ability to alter the world by changing our viewpoint on life. Coping with stress as a result of
the pandemic is inescapable. The pandemic has harmed many of us, including our mental health.
But we can cope with it as a community by responding positively. According to the video, some
of the beneficial strategies to assist us cope with this condition are to exercise, take brief active
breaks throughout the day, give yourself time to rest, and meditate, eat healthy foods, be positive,
interact with others, and most importantly, love yourself as much as you love others.
“What’s broken can be mended. What hurts can be healed. How dark it gets, the sun is going
to rise again” No matter how difficult our lives are, we must not give up; instead, we must
persevere, overcome obstacles, accomplish everything, and be fearless in all circumstances.
