On a gorgeous day, I decided to go hiking and

explore the neighboring forest. I carried a camera

with me to record the beauty of nature. But, while
traveling down a forest trail, I was suddenly pursued
by a bear. I was terrified. I stumbled and fell over a
large rock on the ground while fleeing away from
the bear. Ignoring the discomfort in my knee, I got
up and continued running. Nevertheless, the bear
was getting closer, and I knew I couldn't outrun it for
long. That's when I noticed a nearby tree and
scrambled up to safety. Once I got my breath and
assessed my injuries, I discovered I had also
dropped my camera during the fall. Despite a
painful knee and a lost camera, I was desperate to
photograph the bear before it went. I cautiously
picked my camera from the ground and balanced
myself against the tree trunk. I shot a photo of the
bear as it tried to bite me with a trembling hand. The
excitement of taking the photo temporarily numbed
the ache in my knee. I limped back home after the
bear ultimately gone. I promise I never go foraging
by myself anymore.
