Assignment: Literature review for Project

The objective of this assignment is to conduct a literature review for the project. You will select four
recent research papers and provide a concise summary of their key findings.

Instructions:
1) Select Four Research Papers:

- Choose four recent research papers (within the last two years) related to temperature control in
house, building or vehicles. These papers should be from reputable journals or conferences.

- Ensure the papers are not too lengthy; they should be manageable for a comprehensive summary.

2) Paper Summary Format:

- For each research paper, prepare a summary answering the following questions:

a) What problem was studied in the research paper?

- Provide a clear and concise description of the problem or research question addressed in the paper.

b) When was the paper published?

- Include the publication date to establish the paper's currency.

c) Where was the paper published? Conference or which journal?

- Identify the publication source, whether it's a conference or a specific journal.

d) Names of the authors:

- List the authors of the paper to acknowledge their work.

e) Why was the problem studied?

- Explain the significance or motivation behind the research. Why was this problem chosen for
investigation?

f) How was the problem studied?

- Describe the research methodology and approach used by the authors to address the problem.

g) What were the results?

- Summarize the key findings and outcomes of the research.

3) You must give comparison between selected 4 papers, in tabular form after carefully selecting the
parameters for comparison.

4) Formatting Guidelines:

- Use a standard academic formatting style (e.g., APA, MLA, or IEEE) for citations and references.

- Write your summaries in your own words and maintain clarity and conciseness.
Submission Details:
- This will be submitted in 9th week of the semester.

Grading:
Grading will be based on the quality of your summaries, including accuracy, clarity, and your ability to
extract and convey the key findings of each research paper.
