Data analysis final assignment

General Instructions

You will have to write 12 pages (A-F) of explanation on a specific data analysis in acceptable academic English.
Work in groups of 3 and share the workload accordingly so that everyone has a significantly fair role to do in
the group. You can select one type of analyses to write extensively involving the following sub-sections:
A. Introduction to the selected approach (2 pages - you can review the related theories and literature, cite
properly, and examine if it belongs to a specific research paradigm, for example. Then, explain in what
conditions or purposes does it fit to be selected?)
B. Relations with specific research instruments or data collection (2 pages - Connect this analysis to specific
research instruments or data collection that could optimize the collection and further analysis)
C. Steps/Stages in the analysis. (1-2 pages - Elaborate the step-by-step of how to do it so that novice
researchers can learn and do the analysis by themselves)
D. Examples and exercises (2 pages - Provide some relevant examples of the analysis. If there are different
approaches or types, please elaborate all of them. Get one excerpt, and use them for further exercise by
providing clear instructions, clues, and answer key, if possible)
E. Trustworthiness (3-4 Paragraphs - Examine the potentials and dangers of this analysis when not done
trustworthily. Explain how trustworthiness can be maintained in the process of analysis)
F. Reflections (2 Paragraphs - Provide reflective feedback of this analysis so that it allows readers to
feedforward (learn further) from your writing. If necessary, put relevant links, websites, or references that
would help those who are keen on this analysis)
G. References (Make sure you follow using APA 7th style, use reputable, international, and recent sources to
cite in the writing)

Assessment Criteria:

Your writing will be assessed based on:


a. The recency of the cited literature and theories used (last 10 years, if possible)
b. The quality of the writing (objectivity, grammar, coherence, and consistency)
c. The depth and breadth of the content elaboration
d. The accordance with internationally accepted terminologies and issues
e. The relevance to the English Language Teaching

Additional instructions:
i. The work should be written in A4 paper size, Times new Roman 12, and single space.
ii. Team members must peer-review and proofread their teammates’ work to ensure it meets all the criteria
and given instructions.
iii. Put the group file into one, named for example: 2_Narrative_ANA_EVI_MURTI
iv. Upload the reviewed and proofread file to the class’s Drive in the Final Assignment Folder before 15 June
2023.
