SSU MISSION

The University shall primarily provide advance instruction and

professional training in the arts, philosophy, social sciences, agriculture and
fishery, forestry, science and technology, engineering, education, law and
other related fields. It shall also undertake research and extension services,
and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.

SSU Quality Policy

Samar State University commits to provide and uphold service

excellence in instruction, research and extension in conformity to legal and
statutory requirements for rural improvement and customer satisfaction.

Graduate School (GS) Goal:

The Graduate School aims to train teachers, office workers, engineers
and technologists as well as educational and public administrators for further
academic achievement in the realm of research and critical thinking in order to
make them effective instruments of progress in their chosen fields.

SSU VISION
The SSU Vision is to provide every student with the opportunity to become more
technologically capable, as well as to train them to be more innovative in acquiring
knowledge and skills. And SSU is positively responding to the needs of students,
demonstrating that the university's product is globally competitive in terms of technology and
that it executes excellence in achieving goals.

SSU MISSION

In terms of instruction, SSU is working to increase the number of success stories by

expanding activities that teach students how to be more productive in their work. It is well
known that SSU produces a large number of studies that will aid in the improvement of the
university's ancillary services.

SSU QUALITY

Recognizing the University's commitment to providing services to its customers. This

is demonstrated by the several prizes and awards that the university has received, and it is a
manifestation that excellence is demonstrated and tested through the services provided.

Graduate School (GS) Goal

The graduate school's goal is to increase educational quality and better the learning
process for teachers and even school leaders. Most importantly, because it promotes
effectiveness and efficiency, technology should enhance the teaching and learning process as
well as facilitate better performance of educational institutions. SSU GS is demonstrating to
its clientele that they have the best supplied services by training graduate students to be more
competitive in their respective schools.
