SPEECH?
Impromptu speaking is a speech
that a person delivers without
predetermination or preparation.
Delivered with little or no time for
preparation.

EXAMPLES
MECHANICS
1. The contest is open for all junior high and senior
high students
2. Each section from different grade levels should
have 1 representative
3. Participants will be informed ahead of time about
the issues they will be encountering..
4. The arrangement of participant's delivery will be
done using a fish - bowl method.
5. During the contest proper, each contestant
will be called on stage to pick a card -
containing the issues. One topic equals one
question.
Each contestant will be given 20 seconds only
to read the topic and think of an answer. The
question will also be flashed on the screen for
the judges.
6. The duration of the speech to be delivered should
be 1 (one) to 2 (two) minutes only. A bell will ring to
notify you that your time is done.
If the duration of the speech delivered is less than 1
minute, three points will be deducted from your final
score.
7. If tie occurs, the students will be given a new set
of topics and questions. Judges will be scoring again
and the final winner will be announced.
8. The top three winners of each grade
level will receive a certificate on the
closing program.
