By the end of the lesson, students will be able:

Aims:
 To make students relax, motivate them for the
lesson
 To train Ss in using previous learnt vocabulary
 To introduce the new topic
Procedure:
1. T greets the Ss and checks the
attendance.
2. T checks the homework and gives
stickers to Ss.
3. T plays a powerpoint with the body
parts and the verb HAVE GOT and asks SS to listen and repeat.

Activity 2: Listening and Reading Practice

Aims:
 To make Ss familiar with the new vocabulary
 To make Ss familiar with the activity they are going to
participate to
 To consolidate the new vocabulary items through
games

Procedure:
1. T pins up the poster „My body” and points to the pictures
of the body parts, one at a time.
2. T asks Ss to listen and repeat chorally, checking the Ss’
pronunciation and intonation at the same time. T – Ss
3. T points to the picture again, in a random order. Ss name Ss – T

Activity 3: Listening and Speaking Practice


Aims:
• To make Ss familiar with the new vocabulary
• To train Ss in understanding the new vocabulary
items and the newly acquired grammatical structure
• To encourage Ss to cooperate by singing songs.
Procedure:

1. T asks Ss to open their books at page 28 and look at


exercise 1. T reads and explains the instructions , then
plays the CD. Tasks Ss to listen to the song and point to
the mentioned parts of the body.

Activity 4: Reading and Writing Practice
Aims:

• To make Ss familiar with the new vocabulary

Procedure:

1. T gives Ss handouts with the body parts


2. T reads the instructions and explains the task
3. Ss solve the exercises individually . T – Ss
4. T checks round the classroom and corrects Ss’ PW

Aims:
• To train Ss in understanding the new vocabulary
items and the newly acquired grammatical structure
• To train Ss in using previous learnt vocabulary
• To get Ss’ feedback
Procedure:
1. T asks Ss open their books at page 29 and look
at exercise 3.
2. T gives intructions and asks Ss to solve the
task.
3. Ss read their answers and mime the actions.
4. T asks Ss to look at ex.4/page 29 , reads the
intructions and the example given.
5. T divides Ss in pairs .Each pair receives a
flashcard with a body part. Ss have to use the
given word and act out.
6. T gives handouts and leave them as homework.
7. T praises Ss for their good work.
