The Experience you’ll need in this role


• Degree level education most likely in a commercially relevant subject for this role
• Have 3-5 years relevant industry or consulting experience and have demonstrated career progression and personal
development during your career
• Understanding and experience of business development having been involved in or supported selling processes
(whether writing proposals or presentations or exploring client requirements in meetings and workshops),
• Understanding and experience of the client lifecycle particular to consultancy work and an understanding or
experience of contracting with clients (either internal clients in a large corporate or with external clients)
• Involvement in direct client facing engagement with an understanding of the nuances of client relationship
development
• Able to demonstrate keen interest and intellectual curiosity about our business, the global energy sector and our
clients
• Recognised for achieving high levels of client satisfaction through project delivery and adding client value

• Knowledge & understanding of global Gas & LNG markets, their market fundamentals, trends and essential

Client Relationship Management


• Planning and delivering client engagement activities that create and build strong client relationships
• Creating client value through the sharing of energy industry knowledge and having a sophisticated understanding
of their business issues
• Looking at multiple dimensions of the client’s issue; considering the “so what” question, and proposing creative
options
• Interpreting and understanding a client’s expectations for what they are seeking to achieve

Project Management & Delivery


• Producing high quality project materials, deliverables and presentations
• Delivering project work on time and to budget
• Applying project management skills ensuring high quality standards
• Identifying and accessing relevant sources of information to enhance commercial breadth and value
• Contributing to the analysis and presentation of complex ideas & data and the trends and interpretation of this –
being able to “tell the story”

and coaching activities
• Proactively manage our tools and processes to ensure consistency in quality standards
