    Philosophy is the discipline that studies fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language through rational thinking and reasoning. It originated from the ancient Greek words "philo" meaning love and "sophia" meaning wisdom. Philosophy aims to understand the meaning of anything through constant inquiry, curiosity, and wonder. It is considered the "queen of all sciences" as many modern branches of science developed from philosophical inquiry. Wisdom in philosophy goes beyond just knowledge and experience to continually questioning what more can be asked.

    Philo - Love for, Sophia - Wisdom
    original word is Philosophus - a person that sacrifices his/her life to discover the truth
    coined by ancient Greek Philosopher Pythagoras

    Aristotle - hard sciences = biology, medicine, physiology
    Plato - social sciences
    Socrates - teacher ni Plato
    Love in Philo entails passion and entanglement of one's concern and personhood
    searches and understands the meaning of anything
