By Eliza Rei Quizon - A105MMA4

1. Who is the primary audience of the commercial ad? Target market or target user?
- Target Market
2. Who is the target market of the commercial ad? Children or parents?
- Children
3. What does the ad narrative try to convey first to the audience? Positive or negative
aspects?
- Positive Aspects
4. What are the positive aspects of the ad that may help convince the audience to buy the
product?
- The childish theme of the ad automatically meant that it was for children and
parents/guardians with children to appreciate and be interested in the product. The
colorful and adorable 3D animation described the ad and its product as
child-friendly and just what parents/guardians should buy for their kids. The ad
then mentions a sequence of healthy facts about the product, such as how the
burger patties are made of 100% pure beef while their chicken nuggets are free
from artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They pulled a technique that
would most likely earn the parents' trust who will buy the product by revealing
positive information about it. Moreover, the toy that comes with the food is the
main selling point of the McDonald’s Happy Meal and is what all the children
always look forward to when receiving one. To top it off, they added that by
buying a meal, the consumer contributes to donations, implying a good purchase
for the parents/guardians to be helpful civilians in society. By putting all these
positive aspects of the product of a well-known fast food establishment onto the
plates of the target market and target audience, it was convincing enough for the
people to make a purchase.
