b. Repeat, when the inputs V1 and V2 are inter-changed.
c. The instrumentation amplifier is required to have gain |Vo/(V1 - V2)| equal to 25.
Assuming that R = 5k-ohms, what should be the value of RA?

4. For the Boolean function, F = a’b(d’ + c’d) + (a + a’cd)b

a. Determine the complement of the above Boolean function.


b. Draw the logic diagram, using the original Boolean expression.
c. Use Boolean algebra to simplify the function to a minimum number of literals
d. Draw the logic diagram from the simplified expression, and compare the total
number of gates with the diagram of part (b).
5. Using the Karnaugh map method, Simplify the following functions, Obtain their:
a. Sum of the products form,
b. Product of the sums form, and
c. Realize them with basic gates.
i. F(W,X,Y,Z)= ∑(1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13)
ii. F(W,X,Y,Z)= ∏(1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15)
iii. F (A, B, C, D) = ∏(2, 8, 11, 15) + d (3, 12, 14)
iv. F(A,B,C,D)= ∑(1,7, 9,10, 12, 13, 14, 15) + d(4, 5, 8)
