PROPOSAL

Short Summary

This is a documentary exploring the cultural relevance of skateboarding in the southwest


of England. Specifically, Somerset

USP

The unique selling point of this documentary is that it goes to three different places
(Nailsea, Cheddar and Weston-Super-Mare) asking the skateboarding enthusiasts and the
general public various questions regarding this topic.

Purpose

The purpose of this documentary is to educate people about the topic of skateboarding in
the southwest. To provide a greater understanding of why skateboarders congregate to
these areas.

Viewpoint

the viewpoint will be of an onlooker being presented with this new information by a
presenter, in our case Isaac Phillips.

Crew

our crew consists of Ben stevens who is the camera operator and heat editor, Isaac
Phillips who is the presenter of the documentary and myself and I am the sound recordist.
Cast and Contributors

We aim to have many people to interview. We aim to have:

Jack Bessant, Patrick Merryfield, Phil Williams and many more.

Locations

We aim to film at Nailsea skatepark, Cheddar skatepark and the Italian Gardens in
Weston-super-Mare.

Target audience

The target audience of this documentary is 15-30 year olds

Equipment and Resources

We will use the cameras, the microphone equipment and a tripod.

BBC iplayer.
