Natalia María Málaga Dibos:

She was born on January 26, 1964 in Lima and

came from one of the most traditional families in
Peru. She is the first and only Peruvian to win two
Olympic medals: silver at the 1988 Seoul Olympic
Games as an athlete, and bronze at the 2012
Singapore Youth Olympic Games as a coach.
Additionally, he is a three-time world medalist:
silver at the 1981 World Junior Championships and
the 1982 Senior Championships, and bronze at the
1986 World Championships in Czechoslovakia.

This is perhaps the highest-level moment for the Peruvian team, and it is the highest place
that a popular sport in this country has ever achieved. The Peruvian team combined speed,
technique, and oriental discipline, with the agility of the Peruvians. They even achieved the
best blocking average of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games with a size well below the world
average.

After the bad moment that Peru went through with the Korean coach in the pre-World Cup in
Argentina, coach Natalia Málaga took over the Peruvian adult team under her control and saw
its excellent work by winning gold in the Bolivarian Games, then she returned for the 2014
Volleyball Grand Prix, obtaining victories, placing it in 16th place out of 28 teams, Natalia
Málaga's track record as a coach is very good and the results will be encouraging to prepare an
adult under-23 team. In addition, she was awarded as "Sports Personality of the Year" of Peru
2013
