MOTION TO UNDERGO COMMUNITY SERVICE

ACCUSED-APPLICANT, through counsel, respectfully applies for

imposition of community service in lieu of service in jail, pursuant to the
provision of Republic Act No. 11362 and A.M. No. 20-06-14-SC. In support of this
application, accused states:

1. As per Information, the crime occurred at Barangay Santa Maria

Calauag, Quezon;

2. Accused-applicant MATEO JULIUS A. LAMAN is of legal age and

is residing at 1745 PUROK DOS BARANGAY SANTA MARIA
CALAUAG, QUEZON;

3. On May 9, 2023, said Accused-applicant was found guilty for the

crime of Section 3(a) of RA 9287. He was sentenced by the
Honorable Court to suffer thirty days (30) of imprisonment.

4. Accused-applicants submits that he have not previously availed

of the benefits of R.A. 11362 and no appeal has been perfected as
of the filing of this application.

5. Accused-applicants is physically able and willing to comply

with the terms of the community service program that this
Honorable Court may deem fit for him and undergo rehabilitative
counseling.

6. That the grant of his application will not depreciate the gravity
of the felony/offense charged nor cause any undue risk that
during the period of community service, accused-applicant will
commit another crime.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully prayed of this

Honorable Court that this Application for Community Service be approved and
that the Accused-applicant be allowed temporary liberty under the same bond he
posted pending approval of this application. Other relief just and equitable are
likewise prayed for.
