Making cinnamon buns involves creating a sweet, enriched dough, rolling it out,

filling it with a cinnamon-sugar mixture, rolling it up, slicing, and then baking.
Here's a basic recipe for delicious homemade cinnamon buns:

Ingredients:
For the Dough:
1 cup (240ml) warm milk (about 110F/43C)
2 1/4 teaspoons (7g) active dry yeast
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
3 1/2 cups (440g) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
For the Filling:
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Activate the Yeast:

In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until
it becomes frothy.
Prepare the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, salt, and eggs. Add the
activated yeast mixture.
Mix until a dough forms. Turn it out onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-
10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
First Rise:

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic
wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in
size.
Roll Out the Dough:

Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle,
about 16x20 inches.
Prepare the Filling:

Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough.

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture
evenly over the buttered dough.
Roll and Cut:

Starting from one of the long edges, tightly roll the dough into a log.
Using a sharp knife or dental floss, cut the log into about 12 equal slices.
Second Rise:

Place the cut rolls into a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between
each. Cover and let them rise for another 30-60 minutes.
Preheat and Bake:

Preheat your oven to 350F (175C). Bake the cinnamon buns for 25-30 minutes or
until they are golden brown.
Make the Cream Cheese Glaze:

While the buns are baking, prepare the glaze. In a bowl, beat together softened
cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Glaze the Cinnamon Buns:

Once the buns are out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then spread the
cream cheese glaze over the warm buns.
Serve your homemade cinnamon buns warm and enjoy the deliciousness! This recipe
allows for some customization, so feel free to add chopped nuts, raisins, or your
favorite additions to the filling if you like.
