Q. Do research on the formation of mountains, flood plains,

deserts and
plateaus.

Formation Of Mountains:
The geological processes that result in mountain formation are referred to as mountain
formation. Large-scale operations are connected to these processes. Earth's crust is
moving due to plate tectonics. Related to mountain formation. That of plate tectonics.
Volcanic activity, igneous intrusion, folding, faulting, and All types of metamorphisms
are a part of the orogenic process that creates mountains. The comprehension of
landscape characteristics in terms of the underlying Tectonic geomorphology is the
study of tectonic processes. Neotectonics is the study of ongoing or recent geological
processes.

Formation Of Floodplains:
Floodplains are created by sand and gravel accumulation inside river meanders and by
overbank movement. The river's flowing water erodes the land wherever it meanders.
Outside the meander, there is a riverbank where sediments are also present. Dropped
off in an interior point bar for the meander. Floodplains may develop. Around any size
or type of river. Even relatively direct river stretches have been discovered to be able to
create floodplains. Middle-channel bars in rivers with braids migrate through
procedures like those in point bars of rivers that meander and can create a floodplain.

Formation Of Deserts:
Large temperature variations cause weathering processes that result in the formation
of deserts. Stresses that occur between day and night cause the rocks to fracture
pieces. Although it rarely rains in deserts, there are sporadic downpours there. That
might cause flash floods. These four processes help create deserts: Low humidity,
upward winds, warm air descent, and evaporation.

Formation Of Plateaus:
As magma pushes toward the surface from deep within the Earth, many plateaus are
created. But I am unable to get through the crust. Rather, the magma raises the big,
flat, wall of solid rock above it. According to geologists, a magma cushion may have.
Beginning about ten million years ago, the Colorado Plateau gave its final lift.
Continuous lava flows that emerge from cracks in the ground and cover massive
plateaus can also develop over hundreds of square miles over time. plateaus as well
such as the Mascarene Plateau in the Indian Ocean, one of the oceans that the few
distinct underwater features that can be seen from space.
