    The proposed DFAR (Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources) will serve as the solution to the difficulties faced
    by our fisheries industry. By elevating BFAR from the Department of Agriculture and establishing it as an independent
    entity, this centralized agency will prioritize the sustainable growth of our fisheries and aquatic resources. Its focus will
    extend beyond the well-being of our fisheries workers to benefit both current and future generations of Filipinos.
