Collaborative Activities
The practice of breaking students into small groups to answer questions, work on
projects and learn from one another.
● Also called cooperative learning in the 1980s and 1990s.

Examples:
● Pair or group discussions
● Completing shared tasks in a group
● Activities or games with a competitive element
● Drama and role play
● Information exchange activities

Strategies:
1. Deliberately select which students will work together
2. Size the groups for maximum effectiveness
3. Make goals and expectations clear
4. Assign roles to the members of each group
5. Use real-world problems, not imaginary ones.

Creative learning
Is the method of teaching which has the student think out of the box.

“Creativity is a person's ability to create something that is regarded by


appropriately qualified people as original and value". (Wyse, 2014)
