AL-BA’ ITH

The Awakener - to stop someone from sleeping

The Resurrector (to bring someone back to life) , the Raiser of the Dead, the Giver of
Life (after death)

The One who resurrects (brings back to life) His slaves after death for reward and/or punishment. On the Day
of Judgement Allah will resurrect all of mankind so that they may be judged according to their works
and faith. After we all die and leave this world. Allah will bring us back to life again to judge us and reward all
the good Muslims. After we die, Allah will give us life and make us alive again, and this life will be never
ending, and never end.
The One who resurrects (to bring someone back to life who has died) His slaves after death for reward and/or
punishment.
The One who sends help/guidance into the worlds.
It means One Who Awakens. Allah is called the Awakener because He shall indeed
raise His creatures after their death.

Our present form of life will end one day, yet death is only a phase after which Allah, the Resurrector, raises us
and brings us to life again. Belief in the next life is very important in Islam, what goes unpunished and
unrewarded here will be dealt with just justice on the Day of Judgement. Al Baith is also the “Sender”, Allah
send Messengers to tell the truth to people and teach them, by the example of their own lives, how to lead a
good life. It is Allah who brings the dead back to life. Our bodies die one day, but our souls live forever. After
our bodies have died, we rise again in new bodies on the Day of Judgement.

Signs of Al Baith
The Quran is quite clear about the signs of the Resurrector. It tell us to look at the life giving
rain that allows plants to grow. This happens because Allah alone is the Ultimate Truth, and
because He alone brings the dead to life, and because He has the power to will anything.
He Who brings the dead to life, and raises them from their graves; He Who brings out what is hidden in
the hearts...

In the hereafter, Allah, will resurrect people and raise them from their graves after they die and become
dust; He will call them to account together with their souls and bodies; then He will reward or punish them
together with their souls and bodies. On the Day of Judgement, Allah will give our body parts a voice, and
they will speak to Allah about what they did in this life. Our eyes will speak about the bad things they saw,
like violence, or inappropriate things, our tongue will speak about the bad words we said, like swearing,
name calling, lying, or back biting.

Our hands will speak about the bad things we used our hands to do, like stealing, hitting someone, killing
someone, hitting an animal.

Our ears will speak about the bad words we used to listen to, in songs, or hearing people gossip and back
biting, and enjoying listening to that.

Our feet will speak about the bad places we made them walk to, to buy alcohol or do gambling, or to take
part in a crime.

Our mind will speak of the bad thoughts we used to think, about our dislike and hatred of people, about
the things we didn’t like about others.
Allah gives new life to
trees when their leaves fall
off in autumn. He makes
new leaves grow again.

Allah is the Creator of death. He has destined a time for each being to come into existence and for each being their time
to leave. When we die, whatever we have gained or lost in terms of deeds will determine our state in the hereafter.

It also means to bring life back to the dead. Al Ba’ith is Allah’s quality of the raising of the dead and revealing what is in
their hearts. The raising of the dead can be called the final creation. It is a time when Allah will raise human beings from
the graves and bring forward all thoughts and actions that they encountered in their lifetime.

Allah is the One Who will Awaken everyone on the Day of Resurrection. Allah is also the Awakener because He sent
Messengers with good news and warnings; because He sent a Prophet among the ignorant from among themselves,
to show them the signs; and because Allah shall raise all the dead from their graves. Finally He will raise His Holy
Prophet pbuh to the highest rank of praise, honour and glory.

We should praise Allah after we wake up from sleep:

Sleep is another form of death, so when Allah wakes us up it means that he gives us another
chance to be alive. It is only by the will (decision) of Allah that we are alive again, when we wake up.

 Each new day is a new beginning Allah grants to us.

 The Holy Prophet pbuh used to remember Allah all the time, so we should follow his
Sunnah.

 Praising Allah is one of the preferable Zikr that Allah loves us to always do.

 Sleeping and Rising are signs of the greatness of Allah.

This zikr reflects the gratitude of Muslim to Allah for the blessing of waking up from sleep.

Generally, Zikr is one of the best worship that make a Muslim closer to his Lord and protects him from
Shaytaan whispers, that’s why we have to keep remembering Allah all the time and teach our children
to seek the help of Allah with Dua and Zikr.

Allah created humanity and granted different qualities to everyone. Indeed, down to his or her
fingerprints, each person has unique characteristics. As our Creator, He can re-create each
person in the very same manner as many times as He wills. Allah displays this coming
resurrection each autumn, when nature begins to “die” and then actually experience a type of
“death” during winter. Yet when spring comes, we see dry branches blossoming, nature being
revived and becoming green all over. Furthermore, this “resurrection” has been happening
without any interruption since time began. For Allah, resurrecting each person is as easy as
this.
Another meaning of the beautiful name Al-Ba‘ith is “sending out Prophets.” Allah sent
Messengers to warn their people and bring good news in order to call them to the right path.
He revealed books to some of his Messengers so that they could bring people out of the
darkness of ignorance and into the light of true knowledge. No doubt, this is a great blessing
of Allah to His servants.

Allah is the one who gives life and death and will resurrect the dead on the Day of reckoning.
He says that he has done many favors on mankind and Jinn and the greatest one is that he has send the last
Messenger Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) on earth. No more messengers were sent after the Prophet (s.a.s) but the
doors of truth, piety and righteousness are still open.

Allah says in the Quran; that messengers of Allah had been sent to the people, to teach the knowledge of Quran,
show the signs of Allah’s might, to purify them of their sins, before which they were in open ignorance. Allah says
that mankind was equivalent to the dead before the coming of Islam. After accepting Islam and Imaan (faith) they
have been revived. Before Islam came into the world, people were ignorant, not having
enough knowledge, understanding, or information about something. It was like they were dead from
inside, and when Islam came, it made them come alive again and gave them a new and proper life.
Baith means: bringing about action, something stirring someone to action, sending
someone somewhere, making someone do something or simply waking up someone.

It means to bring life back to the dead.

1) Allah will bring His creation back to life on the Day of Judgment.

2) He sends messengers to His servants

3) He commands His servants to perform specific tasks by creating the feelings and
motivations in them.
4) He sends help to His servants who need it and helps the sinners by accepting their
repentance.

Al-Ba`ith resurrects those in the graves, stirs things into motion, brings His servants back to
life, resurrects His creation on the Day of Judgment, Who records what the hearts hide.

Al-Ba`ith is also the One Who inspires determination in the heart of people to do courageous
things lofty on the battlefields of jihad, and to purify themselves. Al-Ba`ith plants the will to
rise to do great things in this life, who removes from your heart the evil whisperings, who
makes us have high morals and values and purifies the deeds from filthiness. He sends His
messengers to tell people His commandments.

*************

He is the Raiser of the dead. Allah al-Ba’ith will give life back to all of creation on the
Day of Judgment. He will raise people from their graves and bring our all the actions,
thoughts, and feelings that occurred during their lifetimes on this earth. This
attribute of Allah is so important that recognizing it is one of the seven affirmation of
faith, its last condition for the faithful must declare their belief that they will be
brought back to life after their death. This is true. It is real. It will certainly happen.
Allah has made this Truth known in all the books He has revealed and through all the
prophets He has sent.
How are we to realize the meaning of al-Ba’ith while we think that we come into this
life from nothing and nowhere, and go after death into nothing and nowhere? Death
is not “nothing,” neither is the revival after death like our birth. After death, there is
the life of the grave, which is either a pit of the fire of Hell or a rose garden from the
rose garden of paradise. The dead are either tortured beings in misery or blessed
beings in bliss: they are not made into nothingness.

Within this life are many deaths and revivals. How often the soul loses its control of
the flesh and again regains it! It even happens medically: people die and are revived.
Within your body, cells are continually dying and new ones are being born. Don’t you
see that in all these cases what dies and is revived is only the flesh? The soul is
eternal, it lives forever and does not change.

Allah’s promise to bring you back to life on the Day of Judgment is sure. You are
going to die the way you lived; and you are going to be revived the way you died.
Whatever you sow here, you will reap in the Hereafter. Whatever you do in this
world, good or bad, you shall see it in the Hereafter, after you die.

HE who gives life to all creatures on the judgement day.

All people who have or will ever live are mortal

Everyone dies and is buried. Despite this obvious fact, however,
most people avoid thinking about death and their subsequent
resurrection.

As our Creator, Allah can re-create each person in the very same
manner as many times as He wills. Allah displays this coming
resurrection each autumn, when nature begins to “die” and then
actually experience a type of “death” during winter. Yet when

books to some of his Messengers so that they could bring people
out of the darkness of ignorance and into the light of true
knowledge. No doubt, this is a great blessing of Allah to His
servants. In the Qur'an, Allah relates that:
Mankind was a single community. Then Allah sent out Prophets
bringing good news and giving warning, and with them He sent
down the Book with truth to decide between people regarding their
differences. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:213)
He is the giver of life and who sends light into the worlds. The One who resurrects His slaves after death
for reward and/or punishment. And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have
committed by day. Then He revives you therein that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then to Him will be
your return; then He will inform you about what you used to do.

Spring is the very best reminder of Al-Baith- a time when Allah brings nature back to life after apparent death
Plants life cycle is a beautiful remainder of this name 💖 Allah gives life to a small sead 🌰 which grows up with

We can see the earth dry and lifeless- and suddenly, when We send down waters upon it, it stirs and swells and
sprouts forth every kind of lovely plant! All this happens because Allah alone is the Ultimate Truth, and because He
has the power to will anything.'

It is Allah who brings the dead back to life. There signs of resurrection mentioned in the Quran and we can see signs
of it around us in nature. There is a sign relating to how we wake from sleep each day.

The story of Prophet Uzayr helps us understand that nothing is beyond the power of Allah. Allah Allah made him
and his donkey sleep for 100 years, when Prophet Uzayr thought that how could Allah make bones into a human
again. Allah is the creator of everything thing and He can give them life again in the Hereafter.
Spring time is a reminder of Allah as Al-Baith than the springtime, as those bare, dead looking branches again come
to life in the most glorious fashion.

Al- Baith, The one who resurrects, the one who raises from the dead
An article of our faith is believing in the Day of Judgment, believing that one day we will be accountable for
everything we have encountered in this dunya. But many deny this day. They might ask, how could a dead
body be raised up again when it is already deceased? How can I come back to life when I will be merely
bones? But we were dead before we were born and Allah brought us to life and we will die again and Allah
will bring us back to life again. Every human being will die and every human being will be raised again.
Another meaning for this name is the one who sends prophets. Allah could have just left us to find our way
ourselves, but Allah is Al-Rahman, Al-Raheem and Allah sent prophets to help guide us on the right path.
The word "al-Ba`ith" conveys more than one meaning:
1) the Almighty will bring His creation back to life on the Day of Judgment

2) He sends messengers to His servants:

4) He sends aid to His servants who need it and helps the sinners by accepting their repentance.

Al-Ba`ith resurrects those in the graves, stirs things into motion, gives signs of the knowledge of the unknown,
brings His servants back to life, resurrects His creation on the Day of Judgment, Who records what the hearts hide.
If Prophet Isa (as) had died and He wished to resurrect him, Allah could have done so effortlessly.
Despite wielding (to have a lot of influence or power over other people) the immense power to raise the
dead, Allah has chosen not to utilize (use) it until the Day of Judgment. On that glorious day, Allah
will resurrect all of mankind so that they may be judged according to their deeds and faith.
He is the Raiser of the dead. Allah al-Ba’ith will give life back to all of creation on the Day of
Judgment. He will raise people from their graves and bring our all the actions, thoughts, and
feelings that occurred during their lifetimes on this earth. This attribute of Allah is so important
that recognizing it is one of the seven affirmation of faith, its last condition for the faithful must
declare their belief that they will be brought back to life after their death. This is true. It is real.
It will certainly happen. Allah has made this Truth known in all the books He has revealed and
through all the prophets He has sent. In the Holy Qur’an, almost all the chapters have some
mention of it.

Allah’s promise to bring you back to life on the Day of Judgment is sure. You are going to die the
way you lived; and you are going to be revived the way you died. Whatever you sow here, you
will reap in the Hereafter. Choose the seeds of good deeds. Till the ground with your efforts.
Water your seeds with your tears of love and compassion and warm your fields with the divine
light reflected upon the mirror of your clean heart. Do not forget that Allah in His Holy Qur’an
likened ‘ilm, knowledge, to hayyat, life, and jahl, ignorance, to mawat, death. Whoever revives
himself from the death of ignorance into the life of knowledge, or whoever helps another to be
reborn into knowledge from the dark tomb of ignorance, will then see the manifestation of al-
Ba’ith and truly believe it.
