This is to inform that Industrial Visit for the Department of Management Studies is organised as
follows

Destination: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

Date: 16th March – 21st March 2023.

Period: 5 Night 6 Days

Fee: Rs.10,850 per student

Interested students can register their names to their respective class teachers along with the fees
amount, to be paid in cheque.

Students are required to mention their Name, Class and Roll No.behind the cheque with pencil.

 REPORT ON INDUSTRIAL VISIT

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES

The Department of Management Studies organized an Industrial Visit for the FY, SY and TY
students of B.M.S. from 16th March – 21st March, 2023 to Jodhpur - Jaisalmer.

The total number of students were 60 accompanied by 2 Professors – Ms. Nidhi Chandorkar,
Mr. Ashish Navik.

The tour began on 16th March 2023, all the students assembled at Bandra Terminus to board train
to Jodhpur, reached Jodhpur on 17th March 2023. After breakfast proceeded towards Jaisalmer by
bus. Everyone reached the campsite around 1:00 pm after lunch and little rest we proceeded
towards Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari and Zeep ride at dunes, enjoyed sunset at Sand
Dunes. Returned to camp site enjoyed evening snacks with traditional cultural program followed
by traditional food in dinner.

Third day visited Kuldhara Village, Meherangad Fort and Umaid bhavan palace and proceeded
to Jodhpur, after lunch in hotel enjoyed shopping at Jodhpur market, enjoyed DJ party and dinner
at hotel.

Fourth day started with the industrial visit at Rajasthan GUM PVT. LTD. (manufacturing of
GUM powder made out of cluster beans) & RENOBOLT Co. (Manufacturer of Steel bottles and
Flask)

The first industry manufactured GUM power out of cluster beans the entire manufacturing
process was explained to the students. Second industry was engaged in manufacturing steel
bottles. Students were explained the entire process of manufacturing the steel bottles.

After industrial visit proceeded to hotel for lunch and then proceeded to market for shopping and
thereafter boarded train for Bandra Terminus, we reached Mumbai at11 am and went home
safely with lots of memories to be cherished.

 OUTCOME

The Industrial Visit helped us to bridge the gap between academics and industry. Students could
witness live work of two manufacturing company – Rajasthan GUM PVT LTD. and
RENOBOLT Co. Students were explained the entire process of manufacturing GUM powder
made out of cluster beans.

In RENOBOLT industry the founder of the company explained students the success and growth
story of the company. Students were explained the manufacturing process of steel bottles and
flasks.

Students gained firsthand information about he manufacturing process right from raw materials,
machine handling, quality check, testing of final product.
