change or an effect on our environment

 Bandura did not believe that human have superego or conscience but he said that our behavior

moral standards na pinanghahawakan ko, kaya kong mag adjust or kaya ko din sya i-justify base
sa moral agency na pinanghahawakan ko.

Social cognitive theory

 Humans do not need to experience conditioning para tayo ay matuto, we need not to experience
first hand ng mga bagay bagay para tayo ay matuto because we learn by watching other people.
 Bandura have two types of learning:
a) Enactive Learning – learning by doing and is reinforcement bye the consequences of
actions/ outcomes
 Learning by experiencing, experiential learning
b) Vicarious Learning- learning through observation not performance
We learn vicariously at home: how we speak, how you interact (adapt by watching our
parents like yung pagmumura you just watch them then you adapt it.
Even how you look at other people it’s influenced by your environment.
Even how you inhibit aggression.
There are studies that aggression is vicariously learned.

Learning is solely about conditioning and association, rewards and punishments

- When we are learning new skill what we are trying to do is modify the behavior or shape the
behavior that’s going to suit our outcomes that is reinforced by praise which helps to
stimulate and strengthen the stimulus response bond and the environment is usually
manipulated so you’re just thinking about a practice that’s gonna get the outcome that you
want to
- Skinner said that you can learn and change behavior through behaviorism and you can
actually learn
- Positive reinforcement
For example is a baby calling its mother mama and then the mother starts reacting to you
and that’s positive reinforcement you know your gonna get what you want
positive reinforcement siya kasi mas ineencourage yung behavior (pagkain nang marami)
through adding something, (ung pagluluto ng nanay niya ng tinola). ang goal ng positive
reinforcement is maulit nang maulit yung behavior
pero diba difference yung hinihingi ni ma'am na example, ang difference kay bandura and
skinner is regarding sa models nila.

para kay skinner, environment lang yung nakakaapekto sa behavior ng tao.

pero para kay bandura, may 3 factors: environment, thinking person, and behavior.

Yung changes po ng behavior ng tao ayun kay Skinner is resulta nung pagrespond ng tao sa
mga pangyayari na nagaganap sa environment neto. Yung role of reinforcement, yung point
ni Skinner dun kasi ay yung pagrespond or pagtrato ng ibang tao sa isang indibidwal ay
nakakaapekto sa behavior nya. Like for example ano yung pinsan ko naglaba sya ng labahin
tas sinuhulan sya ng mother nya dahil dun after nun inulit ulit nya pa or sinipagan ang
paglalaba para bigyan uli sya ng pera.

Yung kay Bandura naman hindi natin kailangan maexperience yung conditioning, natututo
tayo just by watching/ observing other people. Like for example, yung pamangkin ko 7 years
old (may special needs) ata sya tapos yung babysitter nya mahilig pag nabigla may mga
nababanggit syang mga inappropriate words (mali-mali po ang tawag nila mother) dahil nga
sa behavior nagagaya sya ng pamangkin ko yung mga salitang yung and another example din
po yung napapanood nilang videos na sinisira ang mga laruan ginagawa nya rin sa mga toys
nya.

- Kapag natututo tayo ng bagong kasanayan, ang sinusubukan nating gawin ay baguhin ang
pag-uugali o hubugin ang pag-uugali na magiging angkop sa ating mga kinalabasan na
pinatitibay ng papuri na nakakatulong upang pasiglahin at palakasin ang stimulus response
