PREPOSITION OF PLACE
 Look at pictures, listen and repeat the Prepositions of
Place:

 In
We use in for three dimensional spaces like rooms,
boxes, cities, countries.
Examples:
- What’s in your bag?
- We’re in Bryant park.
- Delhi is in india.
- Who are the people in the photo?
- He’s in the orange t-shirt.
- My grandparents are in the middle of the picture.

 On:
We use on for two-dimensional surfaces like pages of book,
table, etc. You can also use on when something is positioned
on a line (road), and methods of transport (not cars!)
Examples:
- The key is on the table.
- Where are we on the map?
- It’s on page 22.
- It’s on a mountain on Peru.
- There are pictures on the Wall.
- She’s on the left.
- He’s on the right.

 Next to
Example:
- Room 21 is next to room 20.

 Near
Example:
- The Taj Mahal is near Delhi.
