NOTIFICATION REGARDING PROCESSING AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

By free will and mutual consent we agreed to sign the present Agreement regarding processing and storage of Personal Data, called hereafter “Agreement”

Data provided by.................................................... dedicated to the activities for the admission process at West University of Timişoara.

Single Article
(1) The signatories agree by mutual consent to take all necessary reasonable measures in order to prevent disclosure of information they receive from one
another or they can obtain through other means during the period of collaboration.
(2) Upon signing the present Agreement, the signatories acknowledge the processing of Personal Data and express their freely given, specific, informed,
and unambiguous consent regarding such data processing for compliance with legal obligations, according to EU General Data Protection Regulation
2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and free movement, applicable since May 25th 2018.
(3) By ”Personal Data” we understand any information about an identified or identifiable individual („data subject”); an identifiable individual is a person
who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an element of identification, such as name, ID number, location data, online
identifier, or one or more specific elements of their physical, physiological, genetic, psychic, economic, cultural or social identity.
(4) Purpose of using the data:
It is required to provide your Personal Data in order to carry out activities within the admission process dedicated to international students. All data is
processed to generate a centralized database. Refusal to provide the requested data has as consequence the impossibility of carrying out the activities
dedicated to the admission process.
(5) Personal Data subject to processing concern: name and surname, sex, date and place of birth, citizenship, ethnicity, signature, telephone/fax, address
(home/residence), e-mail, account statement, medical insurance, accidents and liability insurance, images and testimonials on the activities carried out
within the admission process, profession, status on the labor market, professional education and training – degrees/certificates -, family situation, medical
condition, including details regarding special needs, as well as special data provided by the beneficiaries thorough express written consent for use, such
as personal identification number and ID / passport number with the purpose of their processing for the admission process at West University of Timișoara.
(6) Rights benefiting data subject: access, rectification or deletion of Personal Data, right to request restriction of the processing of Personal Data,
portability of the data, right to oppose the processing of Personal Data, right to appeal to the judiciary and the National Supervisory Authority for the
Processing of Personal Data, right not to be subject to an automated decision-making process (creating profiles).
(7) For the exercise of these rights you can address West University of Timișoara a written, dated and signed request, sent by e-mail to international@e-
uvt.ro, sent by regular mail or personally submitted at the address B-dul Vasile Pârvan no. 4, First floor, Room 155B, Timișoara, Timiș.
(8) The signatories also undertake to take all reasonable precautions to ensure security and prevent any damage, loss, modification, disclosure, acquisition
or illegal or unauthorized access with respect to "Personal Data" held by the other Party. Nevertheless, in case the Personal Data provided is accesed or
obtained by an unauthorized person or in case any breach of security of Personal Data occurs, each Party shall promptly notify the other Party of such an
incident and will cooperate to take any measures deemed necessary to mitigate any loss or damage caused by such unauthorized access and to notify the
National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.
(9) The Parties will undertake all reasonable and necessary measures to ensure that all employees, agents, partners and subcontractors abide these clauses
whenever they process any Personal Data as part of this Agreement.
