What is Project Quality Management?
● Project Quality Management ensures that deliverables are met and the
project needs determined by the customers and stakeholders are
satisfied.

● There Are 3 Key Elements in the Project Quality Management Process


○ Planning Quality Management: process that involves identifying the project
standards and/or deliverables and includes ‘how’ the project will satisfy them
○ Managing Quality: addresses the methods on how to put the plan into actionable
activities to satisfy the project deliverables
○ Controlling Quality: monitoring the project results. This ensures that they comply
with the quality standards

Communication Strategizing for Stakeholders

Program Risk Management
Program managers should be leaders, even within an uncertain environment.

● Definitions
○ Risks: Uncertain events
○ Issues: Actionable items that require decisions/solutions
○ Assumptions: Items that are believed to be true but may be false
○ Questions: Items that require answers

● Types of risks: Business-level, program-level, and project-level

● Allow stakeholders to be aware of risks

Histograms
What is a histogram?

● Type of bar graph. Example Histogram


● Deals with data in a continuous range
from low to high numbers.
● Used to identify quality issues in the
project process.

Six Steps to create and use a Histogram:

1. Select measure to be examined


2. Collect data
3. Prepare frequency table
4. Design the histogram
5. Draw the histogram
