Dear MR. TERRAZOLA,

Greetings!

We are the PHILIPPINE MALE SINGERS (PMS), a community male chorus tracing its
roots from the San Beda College Chorale Alumni. The group is notable for being
the first Filipino choir to take home the Young Male Category Olympic Champion
Award from the 2002 Choir Olympics in Busan, South Korea. At the National
Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held at the Cultural Center of the
Philippines that same year, the ensemble also took first place in the National
College Choir Category.

The group has since joined various choral competitions and festivals in the local
and international choral scenes, winning the hearts of audiences both at home
and abroad while continuing to be led by Mr. ROBERT DELGADO, a multi-awarded
conductor, choral clinician, arranger/composer, and highly sought-after
international juror. The PMS, as the group is affectionately known, has been highly
active in promoting Filipino heritage and art through choral music and has also
participated in a number of goodwill concerts for Filipino communities in Europe,
Asia, and the United States. Just recently, we participated in the PHILIPPINISCH-
DEUTSCH FREUNDSHAFT Festivals held in Cloppenburg, Munster, and Berlin,
Germany.

This November 2023, the Philippine Male Singers, now based in Quezon City, wishes
to join the 2023 Hainan Prize Choir Competition from 16-21 November 2023 in
Haikou, Hainan, China.
