1. Type of Injuries Activity: "Injury Journal"

Objective: Understand the prevalence and nature of specific types of injuries.
Task:
• For one week, maintain a journal recording any minor injuries you, your family,
or friends encounter, including minor incidents like scratches or bruises.

• Note down the type of injury (e.g., superficial injury, sprain) and the
circumstance under which it occurred.

• At the end of the week, tally the injuries and write a short reflection on the
most common types and potential prevention methods.

2. Part of Body Injured Activity: "Body Mapping"

Objective: Visualize the most vulnerable body parts based on daily activities.
Task:
• Throughout the week, document any instances of discomfort, pain, or injury
that you or someone you know experience, noting the specific area affected.

• At the end of the week, analyze the patterns you've noted. Write a summary
highlighting the most frequently affected areas and provide reasons or
hypotheses for these occurrences.

3. Causes of Injury Activity: "Hazard Hunt"

Objective: Identify potential hazards in one's environment.
Task:
• Conduct a safety walk-through of your home, school, or a nearby public area,
identifying any potential hazards that might result in injuries.

• Beside each hazard you list, specify the potential injury it might cause. For
example, if you spot a toy on the floor, note that stepping on it could result in a
sprain.
• Suggest safety measures that could help prevent each identified hazard.
Afterward, contemplate the significance of ensuring our surroundings are safe
and jot down your reflections.

4. Agent of Injury Activity: "Safety Equipment Inventory"

Objective: Recognize the tools and equipment that pose risks and the importance of safety
equipment.
Task:
• Select five tools or equipment items from your home or school that have the
potential to cause injury.

• Next to each identified tool or equipment, mention appropriate safety

equipment or precautions that can mitigate the risk of injury.

• Ponder and write about the crucial role these safety precautions play.
Additionally, share any personal experiences or observations where such
safety measures or equipment averted an injury.

5. Occupational Diseases Activity: "Health Survey"

Objective: Understand common occupational diseases and their potential causes.
Task:
• Approach and interview three adults familiar to you, asking about their
professions and any health problems or discomforts they attribute to their
work.

• Catalogue the health concerns they mention. Cross-reference and match

these concerns with potential occupational diseases provided in the data.

• After collating the information, take a moment to consider and write down your
thoughts on the discoveries made. Emphasize the significance of recognizing
and addressing work-related health issues.

6. Profile of Most Commonly Injured Worker Activity: "Worker Profile Analysis"

Objective: Understand why certain worker profiles might be more at risk.
Task:
• Based on the profile provided, create a hypothetical day in the life of the most
commonly injured worker.

• Outline the tasks they might perform, potential risks they face, and why they
might be more susceptible to injury.
• Reflect on what measures could be taken to minimize risks for this worker
profile.
