Moral Values

and
Responsibilities

A session on 'Moral value and responsibilities' was conducted by

Mr Abdul Hameed Awan for our students. Moral values and
responsibilities sessions are important for students because they teach
students about the difference between right and wrong and how to
make ethical decisions. They help students to develop a strong moral
compass that will guide them throughout their lives. They can also
help to create a more positive and supportive school climate. When
students feel respected and valued, they are more likely to be engaged
in their learning and to treat others with respect.
PERSONAL HYGIENE SESSION
& PINK RIBBON AWARENESS
A session was conducted for the awareness about
personal hygiene and breast cancer at BEC.
It is important for us to learn how to maintain
our personal hygiene because good personal
hygiene can help to improve our overall health
and well-being. By keeping our bodies clean
and free of germs, we are less likely to
experience health problems such as skin
infections and other illnesses. It is also
important for us to be aware of breast
cancer because breast cancer is the most
common cancer among women, and it can
occur at any age, including young women.
By learning about breast cancer,
young girls can be more aware
of the signs and symptoms of the
disease and can take steps to
reduce their risk.

Dignity Day. Our distinguished speakers, Mr. Imran Khan, Country Director at the United States Institute
of Peace, and Mr. Shozab Askari, a political scientist with expertise in International affairs and conflict
resolution, delivered insightful and motivational speeches on the essence of Dignity, enriched with real-
life examples. Our students actively engaged in the discussion, posing creative and analytical questions on
social and political issues. The session concluded on a high note, leaving our students brimming with
newfound knowledge and ideas on the significance of dignity.

SEERAT UL NABI (SAWW) CONFERENCE

(BEC), students had the privilege of attending a seminar on 'Seerat-un-Nabi,' conducted by Mr. Zia-ul-
Haq, the President of the Youth Club. This event aimed to enlighten the students about the importance of
Islam and the significance of understanding the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
During the seminar, various aspects of the Prophet's life were discussed, including his childhood,
prophethood, struggles, teachings, and exemplary actions. Students were encouraged to reflect upon the
qualities and characteristics displayed by the Prophet (PBUH) and try to implement them in their own
lives. By emulating his kindness, honesty, mercy, and justice, they can become better individuals and
contribute positively to their communities. Mr. Zia-ul-Haq also highlighted the importance of spreading
the message of Islam through knowledge and wisdom, rather than through force or ignorance.
Understanding the teachings of the Prophet empowers individuals to combat misconceptions about Islam
and act as ambassadors of peace and harmony.
Overall, the conference served as a reminder for the students to strive towards becoming better Muslims
and contribute positively to the society.

PANAL DISCUSSION ON ENERGY CONSERVATION

3
Energy conservation is an essential topic that needs to be addressed, especially in the current times when
the world is facing numerous energy-related challenges. To shed light on this issue, students from grade 11
and 10 Olevels took the initiative to host a panel discussion on energy conservation. The panel consisted
of representatives from the school administration, the student body, national energy crisis experts, and a
moderator to ensure a productive and interactive session. The event aimed to educate and engage students
of grade 9, 10, and 11 O levels by allowing them to ask questions and seek answers from the panel
members.

The panel discussion on energy conservation witnessed a remarkable turnout of students from various
grades who displayed significant interest in understanding the concept and its implications. The organizers
ensured that the event was not just a one-way transfer of knowledge, but rather a platform for interactive
dialogue between the panel and the students. This approach allowed the students to actively participate and
engage with the discussions, thus empowering them to be part of the solution.

The panel consisted of a diverse set of members, each bringing their unique perspectives to the table. The
school administration representatives highlighted the steps taken by the institution to promote energy
conservation within the school premises. They emphasized the need for collective responsibility and the
importance of nurturing a culture of conservation among the students. The student representatives shared
their experiences and initiatives undertaken to reduce energy consumption, such as organizing awareness
campaigns and implementing sustainable practices within the school community.

The presence of national energy crisis experts added depth and insight to the discussion. They provided
valuable information regarding the current energy crisis, its causes, and the potential consequences if it is
not addressed promptly. The experts also shared practical tips and techniques that students can incorporate
into their daily lives to conserve energy and contribute to a sustainable future. This inclusion of expert
opinions not only widened the students' perspectives but also encouraged critical thinking and problem-
solving skills.

The panel discussion was not solely limited to answering questions posed by the students; it also allowed
them to express their suggestions and concerns regarding energy conservation. The students asked
thought-provoking questions, demonstrating their genuine interest and curiosity about the subject.
Through this exchange, they were able to understand the significance of energy conservation in tackling
environmental issues and achieving a sustainable future.
