 1. Visit to Dongari Correction Home with Global Care Foundation –
October 25, 2023

Our team, in collaboration with the Global Care Foundation, embarked on a meaningful visit
to Dongari Correction Home. This facility houses young boys who have committed crimesand
individuals struggling with drug addiction. The objective of our visit was to engage with the
residents through recreational activities, gain insights into their lives, and understand the
corrective measures implemented by the correction home.

Activities:

1. Passing the Parcel:

Initiated a lively game of passing the parcel to foster a sense of camaraderie among the
residents.

2. Music and Dance:

Boys at the correction home showcased their talents by singing songs and dancing,
creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

3. Guided Tour:

The dedicated staff from the NGO provided a comprehensive tour, highlighting various
sections of the correction home and explaining the rehabilitation programs in place.

4. Interaction with Residents:

Engaged in conversations with the residents, learning about their stories and challenges,
fostering empathy and understanding.

5. Visit to Girls' Section:

Explored the area dedicated to the care of girls, gaining insights into the specific
challenges they face and the support provided.

Observations and Learnings:

- Witnessed the resilience and talents of the boys despite their challenging circumstances.
