E. Preliminary steps
(1) Open and/or remove:

(a) LH forward bottom structure inspection door under copilot cabin floor,

(b) electrical cabinet,

(c) small cabin floor panel in front of electrical cabinet,

(d) static port and pitot head protective covers [ Airborne kit].

F. Procedure
(1) Switch static and dynamic pressure circuit shut-off valves (1) - (2) to "N".

(2) Switch static pressure [ Airborne kit] selector valves (3) to "N".
(3) Disconnect the air data unit, AP (5), landing gear microswitch (6) and according to
version, compensated airspeed indicator/generator (14).

(4) Plug the disconnected pipes.

(5) Disconnect static and dynamic pressure hoses (8) - (10) at pilot and copilot manifolds (7)
- (11) behing the instrument panel.
(6) Connect nitrogen cylinder hose to the static and dynamic pressure lines (8) - (10) in turn.

(7) Adjust pressure to 1 bar (14.5 psi) then blast the circuit with nitrogen:

(a) check that the nitrogen escapes from static port and pitot head (4) - (13) orifices,
(b) push in drain valves (12) and check that nitrogen escapes,

(8) Close static and dynamic shut-off valves (1) - (2).

(9) Push in drain valves (12):

(a) nitrogen should not escape.

(10) Open shut-off valves (1) - (2), drop the nitrogen pressure.

G. Final steps

(1) - Disconnect the AP air data unit, the landing gear microswitch blanking covers and,
according to version, compensated airspeed indicator generator (14).
PRE MOD 0726357:

- Connect all static and dynamic pressure lines and wirelock.

POST MOD 0726357:

- Coat the unions with Locking compound CM 683 as per MTC and connect all the
static and dynamic pressure lines (8) - (10).
- Fit snap wire to shut-off valves.
- Checks for leaks.
- Install protective covers.
- Install and close the floor and inspection doors.
