INTRODUCTORY RITES
The BELL signals the start of the mass. No need to tell the people to
stand.
PARI: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

PARI: Have mercy on us, O Lord.
FOR WE HAVE SINNED AGAINST YOU.
PARI: You came to call sinners: Christ, have mercy or Christe, Eleison.

PARI: You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for

PARI: I believe in one God
THE FATHER ALMIGHTY,
MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH,
OF ALL THINGS VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE.
PARI: Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your
goodness we have received the wine we offer you: fruit of the vine
and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.
BLESSED BE GOD FOR EVER.
After the priest washes his hands, standing at the middle of the altar:

Then the Priest, with hands extended, says the Prayer over the
Offerings, at the end of which the people acclaim:
AMEN.
PARI: The Lord be with you.
AND WITH YOUR SPIRIT.
PARI: Lift up your hearts.
WE LIFT THEM UP TO THE LORD.
PARI: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

FOR THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY ARE

PARI: The peace of the Lord be with you always.

PARI: Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
