    Patnanungan National High School conducted a Reading Pantry contest for all sections of grade 9 from November 13-17, 2023 in support of National Reading Month and Day. The goal was to create a reading corner in each classroom to foster a love of reading and improve literacy skills. Led by the English and Filipino teachers, the champion section was Pasiphae, followed by first placer Lysithea, second placer Adrastea, and third placer Luna. Photos were taken of the four sections during the final judgment of the Reading Pantry contest.

    READING PANTRY

    Grade 9

    In support with the 2023 Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa with the theme “PAGBASA:
    Pag-asa sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan”, Patnanungan National High School conducted Reading Pantry
    contest to all sections of grade 9. This contest aims to have a reading corner to each classroom as
    support to foster love for reading among learners and enhance their understanding of reading and
    literacy as pivotal in cultivating critical thinking. Leading by the language teachers such as Mr.
    Rommel T. Moreno – English and Mrs. Roxan D. Regodon – Filipino, the said contest was successfully
    done which was scheduled on November 13-17, 2023. The champion of this contest was the section
    Pasiphae, followed by the first placer section Lysithea, second placer was section Adrastea and the
    third placer was section Luna.
